Terms and Conditions

Introduction

SISA is an on-ground support and coordination service for NRIs with family or property in South Gujarat. We act as a facilitator and coordinator only. We find and vet local experts and vendors, supervise the work on your behalf, and provide proof. We do not ourselves perform physical work (for example, we do not carry out repairs, provide medical treatment, or give legal or financial advice), and we do not act with legal authority on your behalf except under a valid Power of Attorney you provide.

Our services and service models

We offer services across areas including property care, parent and elder support, paperwork and coordination, and other on-ground needs, as described on our website. Services are available as:

  • a monthly retainer plan,

  • a one-time service, or

  • emergency support.

The specific services, scope, and timelines for your engagement are agreed in writing (WhatsApp or email is accepted) and, where applicable, in your signed Client Service Agreement.

We will undertake only lawful requests.

Getting started and your information

To begin, we require verification, which may include a passport copy, overseas address proof, PAN, an India-based family contact, and a signed service agreement. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and current. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Fees and payment

Fees are as per your agreed plan or the published rates for individual services.

  • Advance payment is required before work begins.

  • Payments are made by NRE/NRO transfer, international transfer, or India bank transfer. We do not handle cash.

  • Our fees cover our coordination, vetting, supervision, and proof. Any third-party vendor cost (for example, a contractor's or professional's charge) is separate, shown to you, and approved by you before it is incurred.

  • Invoices are issued monthly, are GST-compliant, and include a clear breakup.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information and any documents reasonably needed to carry out a service;

  • give timely approvals where we ask for them;

  • ensure your requests are lawful;

  • provide a valid Power of Attorney where a task requires legal authority to act on your behalf.

Vendors and third parties

We select vendors from a panel we vet (background and KYC checks, confidentiality agreements). We coordinate and supervise their work and act as your point of contact and safety net, including stepping in to resolve disputes. However, the work itself is performed by these third parties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or quality of work of third-party vendors, though we will use reasonable efforts to resolve issues on your behalf.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SISA shall not be liable for:

  • the acts or omissions of third-party vendors;

  • delays caused by government offices, banks, or other authorities;

  • events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, strikes, or disruptions to communications or transport.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Confidentiality

We treat your information and family matters as strictly confidential, do not disclose them to third parties except as needed to provide the service, and bind our vendors to confidentiality. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Cancellation, termination, and refunds

Either party may end the engagement with [15] days' written notice. Fees paid for services already performed are non-refundable. Advance amounts for services not yet performed will be handled as set out in your service agreement.

Data Usage and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. By using SISA, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data, including customer and sales information uploaded to the platform. SISA processes this data solely to provide and improve the service. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely secure.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software, designs, trademarks, and technology used in SISA are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform during your subscription period. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the service without prior written permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Any updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which SISA operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
